Delivery, seven days, pickup, disposal and a tonnage allowance in a single number, with the overage rate stated up front.
Hardwood cribbing goes under the rollers and rails before the container touches your surface. No charge, and you do not have to ask.
Load level with the rim. Call when you are done, or before the seven days are up if the job runs long.
We will talk you into a smaller container when the material is heavy. A great deal of the housing around the Covington square, in Oxford and through the Porterdale mill village was built when plaster over lath and heart pine framing were standard. That debris reaches a container's weight limit long before it fills the space. Recommending the smaller box costs us a little on the invoice and saves you an overage charge.
Waste from a Newton County job stays in Newton County. The county landfill on Lower River Road is restricted to Newton County waste by ordinance, and commercial haulers have to document where a load came from. It is one of the stricter arrangements in the region, and it means a container company that actually operates here is worth more to you than one that does not.
Comments shared with our office by customers across Covington and the surrounding towns.
Three layers of shingles coming off a ranch out on Salem Road and I asked for the biggest can they had. Wade told me flat out the 20 would hit its weight ceiling before it looked full, and it did. Saved me a chunk of money by talking me down.
Booked Tuesday, on the pad Wednesday morning, and the driver laid timbers under the whole thing without me having to ask. New drive, not a scratch on it. That is why I called them back for the second phase.
We cleared out my aunt's house in Porterdale over about a month. They left the container the whole time on a daily rate and nobody ever rang to hurry us along. That mattered more than the price did.
We deliver across Covington and throughout Newton County, plus the surrounding towns in Rockdale, Walton, Morgan, Jasper and DeKalb counties. Every town below has its own page covering local access, disposal routing and what a container costs there.
One call gets you a flat rate, an honest size recommendation and a delivery slot.
(470) 327-9027Every quote is one flat rate covering delivery, a seven-day rental, pickup and a tonnage allowance suited to the container size. The exact number depends on the size and what is going in it, so call with the project details and you will get a real figure rather than a range, along with the per-ton overage rate in the same conversation.
It depends far more on what the material is than on how much of it there is. Dense debris such as plaster, tile, masonry and soil reaches a weight limit before it fills the container, so a smaller box filled properly is usually cheaper. Bulky, light material such as furniture, framing and packaging suits the larger sizes. Tell us the project and roughly when the house was built and we will size it for you.
Not on your own driveway or private property. If the container has to sit on a city street, sidewalk or any other part of the public right-of-way, that needs clearance from City of Covington Planning and Zoning at City Hall, 2194 Emory Street NW, on (770) 385-2020.
Seven days comes with the flat rate. Beyond that it is a daily rate agreed at the start rather than discovered at the end. Estate cleanouts and rural property clearances routinely run two to four weeks and we set those up on a daily rate from day one.
Not if it is placed properly. We carry hardwood cribbing on every truck and set it under the rear rollers and the front rails before the container touches your surface. There is no charge for it. The one case we will push back on is sealcoat applied within roughly the last month.
Roughly 60 feet of straight approach and 11 feet of width for a 20 yard, more for a 30 and less for a 10 or 15. About 23 feet of vertical clearance is needed at the moment the container is raised, which is why low branches and service drops stop more deliveries than narrow driveways do.
Liquid paint, solvents, oils, fuel, batteries, propane cylinders, tyres, refrigerants and anything classed as hazardous. Asbestos requires licensed abatement and cannot go in under any circumstances. Tyres carry a per-item charge at the county landfill rather than riding along with general waste.
Yes - Conyers, Monroe, Social Circle, Loganville, Madison, Rutledge, Monticello, Lithonia and more. Be aware the disposal routing genuinely differs by county, because the Newton County Landfill only accepts waste that originated in Newton County. We build that into the quote rather than adding it afterwards.
