Roll-off containers in Jersey

Jersey is a small Walton County town and most of what we do here is property work rather than remodelling — outbuilding demolition, barn and shed clearances, and family cleanouts on land that has not changed hands in decades. Those jobs are less about picking the right cubic yardage and more about planning what can legally go in the container in the first place.

What makes Jersey different

Old rural outbuildings hold things that a roll-off cannot take. Paint, fuel, oil, farm chemicals, batteries, propane cylinders and tyres show up in almost every barn we help clear, and a load that arrives at a scale with any of them in it gets turned away. We go through that list at the quote stage. On the disposal side, Jersey is Walton County, so material routes through the Monroe transfer station on Cherry Hill Road or the C&D landfills on US-78 near Monroe — the Newton County Landfill is closed to out-of-county waste by ordinance and enforces it with documentation checks at the gate.

Landmarks and areas we cover

Questions & Answers

Dumpster rental in Jersey: common questions

What can't go in the container on a farm cleanout?

Liquid paint, solvents, motor oil, fuel, pesticides and farm chemicals, batteries, propane cylinders, tyres, appliances containing refrigerant and anything with asbestos. We will walk the list with you before delivery so nothing gets loaded that has to come back out.

Do you serve Jersey regularly or is it a special trip?

Regularly. It is grouped with our Monroe and Walnut Grove runs, which is how we keep the flat rate the same as it is closer to home. Booking two or three days ahead gets you into a scheduled run.

What size for a barn or shed demolition?

A 30 yard covers most single outbuildings comfortably, since demolition timber and sheet metal are bulky rather than heavy. If there is masonry or a concrete slab involved that is a separate, smaller container — mixing them is what causes overweight charges.
